So here's a couple of pictures of the two of us hanging out on top of the fridge. We love to sit up there because we can look down on Karl as he works in the kitchen! Not to mention the view into the dining room is great too!

Virgil: I'm a lil tabby cat. Kasey: I'm a Russian Blue / Charteux kitty with just a tiny bit of tabbyishness! We're brother & sister and both named after astronauts! We are a couple of SPCA kitties and part of the reason we do this blog is so that our foster parents and the wonderful people at the shelter can continue to see how we're doing!

My kitties liked that spot too. When my old cat, Trouble, (now frail at almost 17) and his sister were large strong "teenagers", they would jump directly from the floor to the top of the refrigerator. Although I try to keep an open mind, especially when it comes to the abilities of cats, this is something I would have had a hard time believiing if I had not seen it many times with my own eyes! They would jump straight up and hook their front paws over the top edge of the door and pull themselves the rest of the way up to get a back foot up over the edge. Truly amazing!
